"The Three Kings" Christmas, innocent or sinister?
Many people worship the representations of these three "Kings" in the "East" who came to give gifts to the young child Jesus. These beautiful, regally dressed figures decorate cribs and are admired by young children. But there was something sinister and evil in all this? It was these men astrologers, not kings? Did not God condemn the astrologers? If these were men pious, God then why not lead them directly to Jesus? Why have to go to Jerusalem and ask Herod From the whereabouts of Jesus? And why Joseph and Mary flee to Egypt immediately to Jesus' right after the wise men left? Finally, if it were not for these three men Wise Men, "was all poor, innocent babies under 2 years of age have been massacred by Roman soldiers by order of Herod?
